ARTHUR CHRISTMAS

Arthur Christmas reveals the incredible, never-before seen answer to every child's question: 'So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?' The answer: Santa's exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But at the center of the film is a story about a family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero, Arthur, with an urgent mission that must be completed before Christmas morning dawns.

I like this movie because Arthur goes to very extreme lengths just give a little girl a present, and it shows how much he loves Christmas and wants it to be perfect for everybody including his family and elves no matter what.

ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING

Chris Parker agrees to babysit after her "dread" date stands her up. Expecting a dull evening, Chris settles down with three kids for a night of TV... and boredom. But when her frantic friend Brenda calls and pleads to be rescued from the bus station in downtown Chicago, the evening soon explodes into an endless whirl of hair-raising adventures! Babysitter and kids leave their safe suburban surroundings and head for the heart of the big city, never imagining how terrifyingly funny their expedition will become!

I like this movie because it is filled with adventure and it is really funny and it shows us that anything can happen on a crazy night, and also that when something bad happens, something good can come out of it and in this case it would be the adventure.

Frankenweenie

In New Holland, the boy Victor Frankenstein is a bright but outcast student without any friends but his dog Sparky. When the newcomer science teacher Mr. Rzykruski challenges the students to participate in the science fair, Victor's father forces him to play baseball otherwise he would not sign the necessary authorization for his son. During the game, Sparky chases the ball and is hit by a car. Victor recalls Mr. Rzykruski's class about the effects of electricity and successfully resuscitates Sparky using lightning. Victor hides Sparky in the attic but the weird Edgar sees the dog on the garden and blackmails Victor to learn how to bring the dead to life. Edgar does not keep the secret and soon Victor's envious schoolmates revive several creatures to win the science fair contest. When the town is invaded by the monsters, and its up to Victor & Sparky.

I like this movie because it is very sentimental, and it brings a very good message to the audience, and different types of quotes about life.

Hugo

I think this is an interesting movie because we can see how movies were made and the passion of the kid for fixing stuff  and trying to live with himself after his father died. And also we can relive the movie of A Trip To The Moon by: Georges Mélies

Hugo is an orphan boy living in the walls of a train station in 1930s Paris. He learned to fix clocks and other gadgets from his father and uncle which he puts to use keeping the train station clocks running. The only thing that he has left that connects him to his dead father is an automaton (mechanical man) that doesn't work without a special key. Hugo needs to find the key to unlock the secret he believes it contains. On his adventures, he meets George Melies, a shopkeeper, who works in the train station, and his adventure-seeking god-daughter. Hugo finds that they have a surprising connection to his father and the automaton, and he discovers it unlocks some memories the old man has buried inside regarding his past.

The Goonies

Mikey Walsh and Brandon Walsh are brothers whose family is preparing to move because developers want to build a golf course in the place of their neighborhood -- unless enough money is raised to stop the construction of the golf course, and that's quite doubtful. But when Mikey stumbles upon a treasure map of the famed "One-Eyed" Willy's hidden fortune, Mikey, Brandon, and their friends Lawrence "Chunk" Cohen, Clark "Mouth" Devereaux, Andrea "Andy" Carmichael, Stefanie "Stef" Steinbrenner, and Richard "Data" Wang, calling themselves The Goonies, set out on a quest to find the treasure in hopes of saving their neighborhood. The treasure is in a cavern, but the entrance to the cavern is under the house of evil thief Mama Fratelli and her sons Jake Fratelli, Francis Fratelli, and the severely disfigured Lotney "Sloth" Fratelli. Sloth befriends the Goonies and decides to help them.
In the end the Fratellis end up in jail and The Goonies with all the fortune they got, it helped Mikey and his family stay in their neighborhood and The Goonies shall not remain apart.

This movie is a classic, I love it because it is really funny.
It used to be my dad's favorite movie. It's an amazing adventure.
I wish I could have an adventure like that even though it is a little bit scary, but it is worth it :)
Anyways I really enjoyed the movie.

Brother Bear

I like this movie because it shows the love and bond of  family and friends.
It all started when he killed a bear to avenge his brother's death, which i think can happen because of your sadness and anger. When he killed the bear, that bear appeared to be a little cub's mom. So Sitka, his brother turned Kenai into a bear so he would show him  what it would feel like if it was the other way around. So he turns Kenai into a bear and leaves him in the forest so he can learn his lesson. Anyway this movie brings a really good message about love and caring for one another.
And what i like about it is that it shows you that you should probably not kill animals because they have a family too. Okay let's put it this way imagine if u were an animal and some hunters were looking for you, and you were running away because you didn't want you or your family to be killed. So you get it now right? The horror you must feel because of that. And that is why i liked the movie because it brings a really good message.

"Horton hears a who"

The idea of this movie is that Horton the Elefant believes that there is people on a speck.
Mrs. kangaroo believes there isn't people on that speck and that Horton is just crazy!.
I like this movie because im just like Horton. When he believes in something, he goes for it. Of course he is a dreamer, he believes anything is possible to achive.
And even though Horton didn't know who where the people of Who-ville, he still believed he could save them from disaster. This movie brings a very good message for both young and adult viewers it says that '' A person is a person no matter how small'' it leads us to reach out and belive in those things you have faith in. But Mrs. Kangaroo on the other hand said if ''you can't see it, touch it or feel it, it doesn't exist''. From my point of view Mrs. kangaroo was wrong because when we have faith in something, we believe its real.
